If you are like many people, you want to find out what fruit should I eat every day? The truth is, there are too many “healthy foods” on the market today that are not really all that healthy. Many of these foods, when they are manufactured, are filled with chemical additives and preservatives. These additives and preservatives do not contribute to long-term healthy living, but rather contribute to ill-health and disease. When searching for what fruit should I eat every day, avoid these unhealthy “healthy foods” and select healthy alternatives instead.
Here are some of the healthiest foods that I can think of-and there are probably many more that I haven’t heard of yet. The best healthy food choices are fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, healthy protein and low-fat dairy products. Added fats and salt are definitely limited, as well. There are lots of other excellent healthy food choices that did not make this list-including black beans, spinach, beets and prunes-but this list is an excellent starting place to begin to include more healthy foods into your daily diet.
Blueberries, grapes and raspberries have plenty of fiber. In fact, the fiber content of a particular type of blueberry may have many different health benefits, depending on its origin. Pomegranates have a lot of antioxidants, too. So have a variety of berries each day and increase your daily fiber consumption. You’ll get plenty of added fiber, minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients in the process.
Spinach is loaded with vitamins A, C and potassium. It’s also loaded with iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and chromium. So, it’s a good idea to eat a spinach salad each day, along with some healthy vegetables. Or, you could just snack on some spinach instead of the spinach salad.
If you’re in a pinch, you can snack on some dried beans. That’s right, dried beans! You can eat black beans, Lima beans, chickpeas, adzuki beans, adzuki bean dip, chickpea salad (made with chickpeas), refried beans, refried bean burritos or any other type of dried beans you enjoy. Dried beans are loaded with nutrition, low in calories and easy to prepare. Plus, they are extremely tasty and healthy, too.
Legumes are another delicious food group to eat. They are high in protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Plus, they have longer longevity than most other food groups. If you’re looking for an energy booster, try a handful of beans a day.
Finally, there’s another delicious group that you may not be aware of: leafy greens. If you haven’t tried eating a nice salad made with leafy greens, I recommend it. Not only are they healthy but if you add some fresh baked veggies to the mix, you’ve really increased your odds for a longer lifespan. Some good choices include spinach, kale, collard greens, mustard greens and turnips.

Of course, you’ll need to make sure that you are eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly if you want to keep your body healthy. Here are my favorite fruits for a snack on the go. They are all delicious, and all provide me with essential nutrients. Last, but certainly not least on my list of healthy snacks are nuts and seeds. My favorite snacks are almond butter, sunflower seeds, cashews and sesame seeds. In addition to helping me feel full on relatively healthy foods, nuts and seeds are also rich in healthy fats and protein. The highest quality nuts and seeds are the walnut and cashew nuts, which are full of healthy fat, protein and antioxidants.
And last but not least, one of my absolute favorite healthy snacks are Dark Chocolate Bars. There is nothing more delicious than eating a dark chocolate bar when it’s melted and oozing with warm, creamy chocolate flavor! My favorite chocolate bars are the unsweetened kind, which are loaded with antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats. If you want a healthy dessert that is both decadent and full of taste, you absolutely must try the dark chocolate. I guarantee you’ll be hooked once you give it a shot.
